One of the skills of the advanced player is organizing tiles so that patterns can be seen. Below are four sets of seven tiles. Your task is to re-arrange them into an order that best prepares the player to see the "strong suits."
For convenience, I call these hands "2" and "5" and "3" and the fourth one.
How would you re-arrange these hands?
ANSWERS
In the "no" label set of seven tiles, the 6's and 4's are grouped together and the same pairing of 1's and 0's is available here. This is a balanced hand with at least one of each number present.
What do you notice with the 5's and the 6's? Yes, they were brought together.
The strong 3's and 4's dominate this hand. Careful to be sure that you see that you have pairs of 1 and 2.
Several tiles needed to be rotated 180 degrees to line up. The 2's needed to migrate closer to each other. Wow... now you can see that you have four 5's... oh, and three 2's and a pair of 3's.
